This book tells the story of 11-year-old Lotte and her family's life in the immediate post-war period. Their life in the old forest house, filled with the clatter of a typewriter, singing, wind, birdsong, is accompanied by music from Leroy Anderson, Carl Maria von Weber, and others, played by various artists. Proceeds go to the "Bremer Geschwisterkinder" association. (For children 8+)
